Becoming a Member

Our membership is our greatest strength and we always welcome industrialists active in the manufacture and export of coconut-based substrates to become part of our collective endeavors by becoming members of the Association.

An Industrialist (proprietorship, partnership or a Private Limited Company) should meet below-mentioned criteria to be considered for the membership of the Exporter Association of Coconut Based Substrates.
  1. Should have the Manufacturer or Exporter Registration with Coconut Development Authority for Coconut- Based Substrates active while applying for the membership. ( A copy of the registration should be provided with the duly application from)
  2. Should have an active business registration (registration as a proprietor, a partnership of a private limited liability company. A copy of registration certificate should be provided with the duly filled application from).
  3. Duly filled application should be endorsed by to active members of the Exporter Association of Coconut Based Substrates.
  4. Duly filled applications submitted shall be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Association in its next immediate sitting and it has vested with the sole right of accepting or rejecting the applicants without giving reasons for such decision. If Executive Committee accepts the potential applicant for membership, he or she will be notified and asked to pay the Registration Fee of 25,000 LKR (a one-time fee) as the last condition of completing registration as a member.

We are the only association of industrialists engaged in the business of manufacture and export of coconut- based substrates. We are product has more than 100 entities in our membership covering small, medium, and large scale players in terms of production and export volumes.
